2. Typical technology of surface - :
There are two kind of process that our capstan factory is always used. Detail pls see the following. (Capstan factory said: China wire drawing factory always use process 1). At first, the working surface is sprayed with a 3mm thick piano wire with a hardness of HRC45-50, which is intended to support the outer wear-resistant tungsten carbide coating. Second: After spraying piano wire, then the surface should be machined. Third, 0.25-0.35mm thickness of 88C tungsten carbide coating should be sprayed on the machined surface, hardness HV1200. Because of the large tensile force of this kind of capstan, tungsten carbide coating should not be too thick, otherwise the bonding strength will be affected.
Surface is spray-welded with 31C tungsten carbide coating directly, which is know as the wear-resistant alloy coating, the coating thickness is 1.5mm - 2.5mm. After spraying, it is necessary to heat and remelt the surface to ensure the strength and hardness of the coating HRC58-62.
